“If you're a first time parent, you need TROOP. When having our first, we were daunted by bringing the baby home, healing, and learning everything. We invested in TROOP postpartum care to ease the transition. They offered the perfect mix of education, counseling, and care.”

“TROOP helped us rest and recover during a joyful but stressful time in our lives while welcoming our second child home. We knew our daughter was very well taken care of overnight, so my husband and I could sleep well.

I highly recommend TROOP; they are kind, dependable, and very knowledgeable. It made a world of difference having extra support in those first few weeks postpartum.”

“My husband and I had the best experience with TROOP. They were supportive, knowledgeable, friendly, and calm at every step of the process.

I took their online birth course and found it extremely helpful in understanding what to expect and how to prepare for labor. I highly recommend that everyone take it!

I had an empowering birth experience thanks to our birth doula’s expertise, positivity, and calm demeanor. She was always there by my side with exactly what I needed at every step of the process.

I now recommend TROOP to all of my friends who are expecting, and when we have our second we will 100% use them again.”

“We hired TROOP for day/night postpartum support. They became part of our family and I’m going to miss them so much. You can tell they really really genuinely care about their clients and the babies.

Our postpartum doulas helped us to build our confidence as first time parents, while ensuring we got as much sleep as we could in those early weeks. We learned so much about newborn care and breastfeeding as well. In addition to caring for mom and baby, the help with light housework was also great, from folding laundry to washing bottles.

One thing that sets this company apart from working with a single postpartum doula is you have a full team — so while you do get paired with the same doulas, if someone is unavailable or gets sick, there’s coverage for you.

Everyone on their team is equally amazing!”

“Hiring TROOP for postpartum support is the best money we've spent in years.

We are first time parents, and our families live across the country. We decided to seek professional support in the first days of our daughter's life, and they helped us with so many areas of new parenthood.

During a period of major change and transition in our lives that can feel chaotic, they brought a sense of grounding and calm into our home and helped us build confidence as new parents. Highly, highly recommend their services!”

“Our baby came two and a half weeks early, so we felt unprepared. The support and care from TROOP was invaluable during all of the chaos.

Our doulas did everything from breastfeeding support to household chores to setting up the nursery to taking care of our baby girl so we could try to catch up on sleep. They even baked us lactation cookies while we slept.

They became part of our family. While we will miss their visits, we feel empowered by our time with TROOP and confident now that we can take care of our baby well because of the support and training we received.”

“My work offers postpartum benefits, so I looked into it when I was pregnant with my second. The TROOP team worked with me to use this benefit and work with them.

I didn’t know what to expect in a postpartum and thought it might be strange having someone at our house. But I never felt judged, and our doula made sure our whole family, including our toddler, felt comfortable.
The first few weeks with a newborn are ROUGH. Our doula made it so much easier and most of all gave our family the rest and bonding we needed.

Hiring a doula is a privilege, but if you have the opportunity and the means I would definitely recommend them!”

“It was important to me to work with someone who was comfortable working with a queer couple and would leave us feeling safe and seen.

I had a C-section, so I needed a lot of time to recover physically from the operation. Our doula was sweet and supportive and looked after our kiddo with so much care. She helped answer my questions around what was normal and what wasn’t, and I was able to bring some questions to our doctor as a result of our conversations.

Having her overnight support let us sleep so much more, which helped us keep our heads together throughout those early days. So grateful for this service!”
